Silk & Wool Blend Wrap-around

Machine-washable on a wool cycle at 40^oC. (I have washed this material on a wool cycle at 40^oC and it has been fine - machines do vary though!). We have found that this fabric does not shrink much over time.

The baby in the photo is a very large 6-week old little one, and is in a 3-6m wraparound. She weighs approx. 11-12lb, around 5kg, and is about 60cm long.
You can see that the baby-body is a little too big for her, but not much. It's a bit long in the body, which makes it good for cloth nappies as the material is also very flexible. But the fact that it is designed to fit closely means that it fits quite well otherwise and that she can wear it for a long time to come.

The best thing about them, apart from the lovely material, is their cut. The sleeves leave a lot of room for growth and work in all weathers - never too short or too long, especially for a newborn.
