These children's socks are ethically made - and very well made - by Groedo in the Black Forest in Germany from 98% GOTS certified organic cotton and 2% elastane. Machine washable at 40C.
For those of you looking for pure organic cotton socks we have a good selection in our socks category. We have decided to introduce a very limited amount of elastane in our organic clothing for older children, as pure cotton does not maintain a close fit which is sometimes needed for older children's tights, socks and leggings.
All our cotton is organic cotton and we severely restrict elastane use, preferring entirely natural products. You will always be able to find 100% organic cotton tights, socks and leggings for children and adults here too - and all our baby range is 100% natural at all times. In these socks the organic cotton and elastane benefit each other, with the organic cotton bringing its softness and ability to last and the blend achieving a perfect fit.
