Pretty Summer Blouse in Organic Cotton

Washing. Your pretty summer blouse can be washed in your washing machine at 40C. There are no chemicals in the yarn, which is dyed using GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) certified non-azo reactive dyes which can stand repeated washing. We recommend washing dark colours separately.

About this range of organic clothing. The cotton for this range is Agrocel cotton from northern India, and is organic and Fair Trade certified. These clothes are ethically made in the village of K.V. Kuppam for us at Cambridge Baby through the Bristol company, Bishopston Trading. The woven cotton clothing is hand-woven - great lengths of it along the streets - and approximately 3 metres of cotton can be hand woven in a day. Please note that the nature of the hand-loomed cotton means that there can be slight inconsistencies in the weave.

This enterprise helps provide employment for up to 300 weavers in the region, which has seen an increased uptake of education and significant regeneration with people returning to the area.
