Lightweight Merino Wool Jumper by Disana

Sizing
As we had so many returns saying this Disana jumper was too big, we have carefully looked at the sizing and tested the jumper on a number of little models. Our current sizing was updated in January 2012 and we believe this to give "normal/average" sizing. If you buy a 110/116 jumper for example, this will fit an average 6 year old quite comfortably.

Disana original sizing is mainly for giants and is given below (we don't use this ourselves any more):
62/68 - 3-6m, 74/80 - 6-12m, 86-92 - 12-24m, 98/104 - 3-4 yrs, 110-116 4-5yrs. However, the 4-5 size was bigger than Lille Barn's 7-8 size. So we hope you will understand that we have re-sized this brilliant Merino wool jumper to create appropriate age ranges and this is what you'll find on this page. So size-shop with confidence!

Washing
Disana recommend hand-washing but we do machine-wash ours on a gentle wool cycle - we leave it up to you to decide what you'll do with yours. This wool is not treated against machine-washing or felting and it is very, very soft. Wash in tepid or cold water. It does shrink a bit and felt up a bit too on washing but in its defense, it just gets even softer.
