About New Zealand Merino Wool.
This organic Merino wool is sourced from certified organic farms in the Southern Alps of New Zealand. The Southern Alps experience extreme differences in temperature. The Merino sheep who live here at 7,000 feet above sea level have developed over time a fleece that shields against scorching summers and protects against harsh, freezing winters. The incredibly fine fibers have amazing warmth to weight ratio, trapping air to insulate and breathing to cool. The fineness of the wool is necessary for survival in this dramatic landscape and thus is unique to the New Zealand Merino.

Sizing
As we have had returns saying this jumper is too big, we have carefully looked at the sizing and tested the jumper on a number of little models. Our current sizing has been updated in May 2012 and we believe this to give "normal/average" sizing.

Wool Care.
Wash in luke-warm water by hand or on a 30°C gentle machine wool cycle. Use liquid detergent designed for wool (available in our wool care section). Don't wash on a 40°C cotton wash - it may "shock" the wool!
