Wool is nature's clothing fibre... it's designed for the job. Because wool can absorb 30% of its own weight in moisture without feeling wet, it helps keep feet dry and healthy. Fine wool fibres and micro-scales trap air, creating an insulating thermal air cushion, keeping feet both dry and warm. And it has natural antibacterial properties too, so wool socks help keep your feet fresh.

Washing
These wool socks are pre-washed for your comfort and convenience. To wash, use a gentle 30C wool cycle or rinse through by hand in luke warm water. Use specially-designed wool detergent (such as the one we sell) to maintain softness and prolong their life.

Is this wool organic?
Yes, all Hirsch Natur wool socks and tights are now organically produced and certified by IVN, the Natural Textile Association of which Hirsch Natur are founder members. Since 1993, Hirsch Natur's lambswool has come from sheep reared in Germany.
