Washing.You will find that the soft wool clothes don't need washing as much as cotton ones, so you don't need as many. Grown-ups have worn their vests non-stop for over a month and they've been fine (so they tell me) though you may like to wash these slightly more often...

Our woollen garments are 100% natural and are not chemically treated to prevent shrinking. They can be machine-washed on 30C wool cycle, though if washed often may slowly shrink over time. If this happens, re-shape using hair conditioner! For washing, use wool shampoo (we stock some in the Essentials category) or Ecover liquid detergent for delicates, as normal detergents are designed for cotton, and are too harsh for these natural fibres.

Sizing. Sizes have been translated from height-in-cm sizes, or German/Continental sizes, as follows:

104cm -- 3-4yrs
116cm -- 5-6yrs
128cm -- 7-8yrs
140cm -- 9-10yrs
152cm -- 12yrs
164cm -- 14yrs
176cm -- 16yrs

We recommend sizing up for the larger sizes. The stretchiness of the fabric allows plenty of room for movement and growth.
Long-johns are very generous in the smallest sizes. You may want to consider the wool/silk baby trousers for a 12-24m child instead.
