Washing Instructions
You can use this conditioner either when hand-washing or in a machine wash on a wool cycle (preferably at 30 degrees C).
It is recommended to be used every 4/5 washes to replenish lost oils.

For machine wash: add a little diluted to conditioner tray of your washing machine.

For hand washing: dilute 4 dessert-spoonfuls of wool cure in about a cup of very hot water. Pour into a bowl and dilute with cooler water until luke-warm. Add your woollens and squeeze through. Remove and use a towel to remove excess water, and re-shape.

Dry away from direct heat.

Natural protection for wool and silk
This high quality lanolin wool cure is a very natural product with no need for preservatives and contains only renewable and biodegradable natural substance such as plant soap and a very high proportion of lanolin. Use this wool cure to

  • keep all your wool and silk clothes in good condition
  • to resurect woollens that have been harshly treated
  • to lanolise nappy outers and wraps to make them more waterpoof
Always use a wool cycle (preferably at 30 degrees C) when you machine wash woollens unless you are trying to felt the clothes.

Wool resurection
If your garments got in with a cotton wash by mistake, try soaking them in a lanolin bath, then re-shaping them before drying.

How to treat wool nappy wraps and outers (lanolising) to increase their waterproofing ability:
Dilute 4 dessert-spoonfuls of this wool cure in about a cup of very hot water. Pour into a bowl and dilute with cooler water until luke-warm. Add your nappy wraps or longies and leave to soak for a couple of hours. Remove and use a towel to remove excess water, and air-dry, away from direct heat. You may need to repeat 3 times to create a good "barrier" though we only needed to do it twice.

Why not try....
Lanolising pyjamas and sleeping bags is important too, to continue the night-time nappy breathing process! Use as above, repeating 3 times to create a good "barrier"!
