Your Cambridge Baby team (Helen and Nick, helped by Rosy, Ellen and Anne) go out and find the best healthy, natural clothing for your family. Healthy clothing is gentle on the skin, helps the body do its work, and has no chemical residues. Natural clothing is a gift from nature - no petrochemicals or plastics, simply natural fabrics made sustainably from organic Merino wool, organic Welsh Shetland wool, organic cotton, mulberry silk and bamboo.

About Cambridge Baby natural clothing

Natural fibre clothing is healthy, breathable and gentle on the skin, providing the purity and warmth that your growing family needs. We were inspired to create Cambridge Baby after the birth of our first daughter to bring more natural and organic clothing to a wider range of families in the UK.

We have since grown quickly, with a very loyal customer base both here and abroad - thank you! - and now have the widest range of high-quality natural baby and toddler clothing on the web. Our fabrics are chosen to be good for the skin and healthy for the body and include organic cotton, Merino wool, bamboo and silk blends, and we have some very lovely baby-safe sheepskin rugs and stroller liners too.

Because our ethical stance is important to us, we make sure that all our suppliers are either Fair Trade certified or have strong ethical policies in place. All our cotton is organic, and all our wool products are organic or certified as minimally-treated by IVN. Our aim is to select the best natural clothing around - the best for your baby's skin, sleeping and health, and the best for our wider society.

Looking for clothes to go over cloth nappies? Finding clothes to go over bigger bottoms, chubbier tummies and cloth nappies can be a real problem as most clothing is designed only to cope with disposables. Good cloth nappy clothing needs to be long enough in the back to accommodate the extra length a real nappy gives, and of course broader around the bottom too. In our cloth nappy clothes section we've brought together natural clothing which is excellent for cloth nappy wearers. This includes Cut4Cloth clothes from Frugi, pull-ups from Little Shrimp, Disana Merino wool wear and Engel wool and wool/silk clothing too. Enjoy exploring!

Looking for natural sheepskins? Our sheepskins and stroller, pram and carseat liners are soft and washable and so useful for newborns - all chromium-free of course.

An Engel or Disana fan? So are we. If you are looking for any of their range that we don't currently stock, we can order it in for you. Especially popular are Engel Merino wool vests and silk/wool underwear for children and teenagers. Enquiries from Steiner Waldorf schools and kindergartens welcome.
