"It's by far the best sleeping bag we've had. We're on our second one (a grey one), now that our baby has outgrown the smaller size (a green one). The wool is quite thick yet breathable, so it's a warm sleeping bag but there is not worry about overheating. In the winter, we use it with pyjamas and a cotton/wool/silk long-sleeved body underneath; sometimes also woolly socks when it's particularly cold. And baby has always been warm and cosy, without overheating. The long puffy sleeves really seem to add comfort and cosiness. Two things to note:
(1) the buttons, while convenient, do mean that there are gaps in the sleeping bag (between buttons). This hasn't been a problem for our 15-month old baby, who likes to sleep on his front anyway. But we make sure he always wears either pyjamas with feet included, or else socks that are long enough stay on, in case he sticks a foot out of the sleeping bag during the night (which occasionally happens). But we will buy the next size up without hesitation.
(2) The sleeping bag doesn't need washing often. We did it a couple of times after a bit of milk had spilt on it. We used the cold wool cycle on the machine. It washed fine, but there is some bobbling after a few months of use. Not a problem for us (it doesn't reduce its comfort or warmth) but it's worth being aware that it won't look new forever - more like a well-worn jumper!"

This was washed... had to be careful

This was worn by... My 15-year old baby

Sizing: Feels true to size

I wouldn't really recommend this to a friend.
