Fitted Merino Wool Zip Fleece Jacket for Women

"Have barely taken this off during this cold winter. Cosy indoors sitting around in our chilly old house and warm enough on the move outside in 0-5 degrees with just a thermal layer and medium weight jumper underneath. Had started trying to get my head around technical ratings for wool warmth, noticed a shepherdess's review of this jacket and abandoned all further investigation. Glad I listened to her - the jacket is extraordinarily warm."

"I love fleece but since Blue Planet 2, have felt concerned about the tiny bits of plastic it releases when washed. No worries about that with this. Used for walking an elderly dog so the extra pockets, some wonderfully deep, was super useful. Bit expensive though so will have to save up if I want another!"

"My elderly mother has been wearing jacket this very cold Aussie winter (yes it does get cold, we live in the Alpine region), around the house once housework is completed and on special outings as she does not want to ruin it. The berry colour is beautiful. The wool fleece so soft and warm (does not make you overheat). The only negative, although this would not bother everyone, is that it sheds fluff everywhere. It is very obvious if wearing dark clothing. This happened both before and after hand washing. The sizing was correct and special notice should be made of the fact that this jacket if fitted. It is body hugging and suits the tall woman better than the petite. My mum had to shorten the length of the sleeves to fit, but she does not mind the body length being a little longer. This jacket shape would not suit my body type as I am petite but have broad shoulders and a medium to large bust."

"Am thrilled with this jacket. It is much lighter to wear than I thought it would be and can be worn with jeans or a smart skirt or dress. The collar zips up high to keep the wind out and the sleeves are a good length. The fit is very feminine and true to size and am looking forward to wearing through the winter. Lovely blue."
