Organic cotton is grown without the use of chemical fertilisers and is healthier for the environment. The reduced processing of the cotton also results in a longer-staple, higher quality cotton that is softer on your skin.
Included in the organic certification are standards that ensure the welfare of those involved in the farming and production of the clothing, so that you can be assured that nobody has been exploited along the way.
You will feel the difference in quality when you touch organic cotton - it's something that gives us pleasure to handle here at Cambridge Baby, and you know that it's safe for your baby and gentle and nurturing for your family.
A small amount of shrinkage may occur in the first couple of washes, but the clothes are made slightly bigger to accommodate this. Air dry, and re-shape while damp if necessary.
To help all your clothes last longer, always air dry rather than tumble dry.
To reduce calcium build-up which can contribute to a hardening of your clothing, add a little vinegar to your rinse cycle.
"My daughter wore this all the time (night and day) and so I needed to buy a couple more so that I could rotate them. They are beautiful but quite delicate and despite always putting them through a gentle or wool wash they have worn very thin and have a couple of holes in the arms. The final star is removed because of this but in all other respects it is great."
This was washed... had to be careful
This was worn by... 8 year old daughter
Sizing: A little small
I'd recommend this to a friend.
