"Warm but not too thick, great for layering with thick jumpers, drys quickly and mud brushes off well. Loads of growing room but good ankle elastic so extra length didn’t trip him up. Had to keep an eye out for brambles and Velcro and overall preferred the boiled wool ones for durability"

"I have been buying these tights for my daughter's winter school uniform as regular school tights give her a rash. These tights are non allergenic, but get holes in them after a few weeks after wearing. This year I bought three pairs to rotate during the week and all of them have holes but thats Ok - I am prepared to mend the holes, as they are compatible to sensitive skin."
