"These are brilliant. I have never been able to find a better product in this colour for this price. Some base layers are easier to wash but they always come in bright colours which are no good for under a white school shirt or a pale coloured dress. They don't need washing much. My daughter's wear them over a cotton singlet and under their top or dress so they don't get dirty. An occasional hand wash is easy. I love knowing that my girls have these on and I can be sure they are warm but won't overheat. I buy them for my older daughter and they get passed down for the younger one."

"My new favourite hooded jacket! I adore this! The fit is comfortable, the hood pleasantly generous. Very warm. If it's windy and cold outside, a long sleeved undershirt is recommended because it lets some wind through, although not excessively. I bought it to replace some polyester fleece jackets. I am replacing all synthetic clothing fibers in our household to natural ones, because I don't want us to wear plastic anymore. And I can say that this feels so very different to the plastic fleece fabric. This breathes, feels comfortable and natural, like a gentle hug, it doesn't make me sweat and feel like wrapped in clingfilm. I recommend everyone to make the switch, it's well worth it! The difference is drastic."

"I think I can say that "I like the concept", but it's not exactly like in the pictures for me personally. Maybe it's my body type that's different than average. Petite, flat, short woman. I usually go up a size to feel comfortable in clothes, and this was no exception. The other items I ordered were very good, but this was far too large for me to wear the way it is shown in the pictures, the zip open. And zipped up it looked like a shapeless tent on me. It's also large for me at the shoulders, otherwise I could have just sewn it in a little at the sides to make it wearable. But the shoulders are out of place for me, hanging way too low and not fitting. When I said that I like the "concept", I would like to see this a bit more finished or finalized, as it has cut edges instead of sewn hem. This is a particular style for someone who likes it. I love the feel and high quality of the material and the earthy colour magma melange, but otherwise it just wasn't for me. Mainly I blame my body t"

Sizing: Too big

I wouldn't really recommend this to a friend.

"I bought the child's size for myself, because I never get along with the very long loop scarfs made for adults. There's just too much material around my neck for me to feel comfortable. I am pleased to say that the child's size is perfect for me, I can loop it around my neck twice and it's comfortable, not too heavy or thick, nor does it restrict the movements of my neck and head. It's lovely warm, not too hot, and like someone else said, it doesn't make you sweat, unlike scarves made of synthetic materials. And oh how amazingly soft it is! I could just keep touching it all the time because it feels so wonderful! The knit is very bouncy and airy, without being too loose or sparse. I love the colour dahlia, which is even more beautiful than in the pictures. This was a test purchase as the mother-guinea-pig for the the family, and I will be purchasing more now for the rest of our bunch. :)"

Sizing: A little generous

I'd recommend this to a friend.

"I bought these to wear against the skin under a top layer. For us it runs a little small or snug to our personal liking. It rides up from the waist also when on the move or sitting down because it's quite a short cut, at least in the largest sizes. Maybe it's different for the younger ones. It does stretch in use and gets softer also. My son is sensitive to textures against his skin and he couldn't wear this because of the too snug fit for his liking and scratchy feeling he couldn't tolerate. But I think most "average" children don't mind it. The neck is also too narrow and tight for my son. I anyway kept both of the ones I purchased because I like them and will find use for them. The saffron is a delightful colour and even I can wear the largest size as a petite adult. Nice undershirt for every day wear."

Sizing: A little small

I'd recommend this to a friend.

"Five stars, although I unfortunately, with much sorrow and tears, had to send these back. They run so very small, in my opinion, for older children. I'm not sure about younger. I bought two of the largest size, for a boy 12 years old and a girl 14 years old. But neither can comfortably wear this because it just runs so small for this age children. It is very short for an older child, quite small all over, unlike as seen worn by the children in the pictures. Even the hood wasn't able to be worn because the whole hoody rides upwards becoming tout, and then exposing the belly. But oh how I love the material, merino wool crepe! It is delightful! I wish they made these for adults! I would so much like to buy three of these, a proper fit for my children and for myself! A size that would look on us like in the pictures. But the largest size doesn't look anything like that on a 12 and a 14 year old, unfortunately, despite the size saying "to age 14/164cm". Otherwise, very, very lovely hoody."
