I wouldn't really recommend this to a friend.

"I love wearing these all the time. Somehow they are comfortable whatever the weather. Without precautions they soon wear out at the heel. So I wear clogs around the house and tight fitting walking boots outside and they wear well. After a little while they stretch; so I put them with the rest of my washing and normal detergent at 30 degrees Centigrade and they shrink nicely. It is possible to wear them for days and it’s a miracle, they don’t smell and my feet feel fresh! Although one bite from a dog and they need darning. They are lighter than my socks made out of artificial fibres. In summary, although they don’t wear well, I find them a luxury well worth having. The Sara socks are just as good."

"Lovely, perhaps best if you happen to be in the middle of a size range as they are pure cotton and don’t have elastane so are probably exactly sized for mid-range. I’m a 39-40 and the larger size was slightly loose but they work"

"These are great! (I think I may have trimmed them ever-so-slighly to fit perfectly.) They are soft but warm and still going strong a year later. But, I do take them out in the summer - or leave them in my boots until the winter. I now have warm feet - even standing on cold floors"

"These fit really well, even my big calves, maybe because the fabric is ribbed and therefore has natural stretch.
I love wearing these at home with an oversized hoody, they keep my feet and legs warm :)"
