"I have a rather old pair of these...they don't make them as well as they used to; the elastic is no longer covered and the fabric feels thinner, and almost fragile. Fine for those who want thin pants."

I wouldn't really recommend this to a friend.

"This is really thick cotton, so can be worn as a shirt or a sweater. The square cut is loose without being sloppy. It’s very comfortable and looks brand new after a year of being worn just about every week. It did not shrink in the wash and the stripes didn’t bleed dye. Excellent."

"Great socks, fit well and easy to put on. My son likes these socks and they are a lot more comfortable than you standard school supermarket socks. The elasticated band is quite wide but seem to be ok."
