"I bought the size 6-12 months for my average sized baby (I think he was about 6 months old at the time). They are still big for him at 8 months, but the legs roll up easily and I think they'll be a perfect fit next winter. These dungarees are so adorable and snuggly that I'm actually kind of sad that the weather is getting warmer and he won't be able to wear them for a while!

Perfect over cloth nappies (plenty of room). I soaked them in lanolin solution to increase the water resistance and they can be hung to air without washing if there's a little bit of wee leakage, just like a wool soaker. A couple of hours in the outside air and they're fresh and clean just like magic!"

"This is such a gorgeous coat and if they made them in adult sizes I'd probably buy 3! It's incredibly soft and airy. It's warm but also reasonably thin so could be layered under waterproofs or a boiled wool jacket. I love how it looks like a "fancy coat" but I don't need to be precious about it. Dirt, sand, food, etc, all brush off easily. The cuffs roll well, so I recommend sizing up to get the most wear."

"I love Cambridge Baby and has purchased some really lovely items. This is my only slight 'miss' so far, which is really a credit to them!

It's a beautiful jumper and the buttons are really handy for a baby who hates getting dressed. However, two of the buttons are coming loose after a few months of wear, and I've found it pills more than other merino baby items I've purchased. It ends up looking ratty quite quickly and needs a go with the fabric shaver after each few wears. I'm not unhappy with it (it looks gorgeous on my baby and I can fix up the buttons and the pilling) but I'll probably choose a different jumper next time he needs one."

I wouldn't really recommend this to a friend.

"These are great for babies over cloth nappies. They have enough stretch to fit with room to spare and without compressing the nappy and causing leaks. Lovely soft, light material that my 8-month-old can wear on warmer days to protect his skin without overheating. They air out really well between wears, considering they're not 100% wool, and rarely need washing. My spouse even accidentally put them in the 40 degree wash with no apparent shrinkage (not that I'd recommend it!)"

"The colours of these tops are beautiful - I love how the different fibres take up the dye differently. I sized up to 3-4 for my small 2.5 year old and it's a good size for her with a little room to grow (maybe more room than it appears because it's quite stretchy). So soft and light and perfect for the spring/summer. You need to be careful with washing, but I've found they do fine on a 30 degree wool wash pre-treated with ox-gall soap for any stains. Easter chocolate came right out!"

"This is a gorgeous cardigan. I bought the size 5-6 for my small 2.5 year old, hoping that she could get plenty of wear out of it. I'm really glad I did - it's thin enough that the sleeves can be rolled a few times without being bulky, and the extra length looks intentional. It seems to repel dirt and hasn't needed washing despite being worn regularly for the past few months. Unlike a lot of merino items, it has pilled very little and still looks like new."
