"I bought these to wear on slippery wooden floors - ended up giving birth in them. They are rougher, thicker, more wiry wool than expected, so have a really nice massage effect. I put them on when I went into labour as I literally had "cold feet", and they warmed my feet up nicely. When the midwife asked if she should take them off for me, I didn't want to, they felt like my birthing chain mail. Secure. Highly recommend - not just for labour."

"I prefer the old style girl’s coat but they didn’t make that in larger sizes. This coat is comfortable but the arms are even slightly shorter than the smaller size in the old style. The zip is on the outside, which I suppose is a design feature. We thought it made the coat less elegant. A bit disappointed with the looks and fit, but the material is wonderful. As is all Disana products. We adore Disana, but this coat was a bit disappointing."

Sizing: A little small

I wouldn't really recommend this to a friend.

"I think these are great for the price and I love the colours. They didn't sag in any way (around the knees for example). I bought two pairs at different sizes for my growing daughter. I have given 4 stars because the legs were generous, I folded them up at first, but the first pair had quite a tight elastic waist, it felt like a sewing error honestly."
