I wouldn't really recommend this to a friend.

"My 6 year old granddaughter has worn this type of vest in the winter months since she was 2 years old. She wears it daily as a base layer and it rarely needs washing. She is particular about her clothes but has never resisted the warmth and comfort of this item."

"Absolutely love this coat, incredible value for money. The largest size has lasted from when my daughter was a chunky 10mo and she still wears it now as a big 20mo and still has the sleeves rolled up. Even when she was small we just rolled the sleeves up and it reached down to her knees but it did the job and she looked adorable. We will get at least two winters out of this coat which is practically unheard of for children this age! I have only had to wash it once despite daily use through the winter as it just doesn’t pick up stains. We got the saffron colour which is beautiful and we get tonnes of compliments on it; it goes with greens, purples, reds and all sorts of lovely autumnal/winter colours."

"A good hat! It does the job and is light, comfortable and keeps the sun off my ears and neck, which is what I hoped. And you can scrunch it up into your pocket. I would add, however, if there's anything more than a light breeze, the rim will buckle and bend and flap down in front of your eyes... But I'm happy with it."

"Last winter, I used these socks on top of my baby’s cotton socks on cold days, before my baby was old enough for shoes. I used to carry them round in my coat pocket and quickly pop them on if needed. They still fit this winter, so I will probably do the same when she’s in the pushchair without shoes, or when she’s wearing wellies. They’re not as soft as wool terry, but they’re not very itchy either and they are a great colour"
