"I was surprised at how thin this item seemed to be. Its lovely quality, thought, and feels warm and smooth to the touch. My 18 month old is not a good sleeper...so hard to tell how effective it is for warmth. I do seem to add more layer than I did with her previous all wool sleepsuit. However, its lightness & blend of materials means I don't have to worry too much about overheating her.
Its a little big for her (she is small for 18 months) so she tends to get 'wrapped up' in it if she tosses & turns too much!
I think, personally, I would put it at 1.5 or 2 togs equiviletn, rather than 2.5 normally associated with 'winter' sleepsuits."

"Superb long sleeve vest, light yet warm. My son wears it now pretty much all the time either on its own on a warmer day or underneath woollen baby grows on a cold day and it keeps him lovely and cosy. The fabric is soft, colours really nice. Already got two of these!"
