"Have barely taken this off during this cold winter. Cosy indoors sitting around in our chilly old house and warm enough on the move outside in 0-5 degrees with just a thermal layer and medium weight jumper underneath. Had started trying to get my head around technical ratings for wool warmth, noticed a shepherdess's review of this jacket and abandoned all further investigation. Glad I listened to her - the jacket is extraordinarily warm."

"I purchased the size 2 when I was pregnant with my son, who is now 3 weeks old. He was VERY small when he was born - just 5lbs 12 oz (less than 2.72 kilograms) and the size 2 was big on him. I was tempted to go ahead and order the smaller size too, after finding out how small he was, but decided to just go with this one, and it is fitting a bit better, though still big, with plenty of grow room! The design is wonderful, easy for changing diapers, and the materials and construction high quality."

"I have a very skinny 5year old & wanted a snug fit to go under an orthotic jacket. This in size 2-3 is perfect, 3-4 is a little loose, but I would say they are true to size for more "typical" sized children."

"Beautifully warm item. Worn over merino long johns. Especially good for my daughter on outdoor day in kindergarten during winter. She wears them both under waterproof trousers. They are very thick with ample growing room. Absolutely the best for keeping warm for long periods outdoors. The green colour isn’t gorgeous."

"Size down, these are enormous! But they are lovely. I bought a pink pair in 86/92 for my 2 year old, loved them so much I also bought a purple 74/80 for my 1 year old. These are perfect on really cold days under their disana overalls! The pair for my youngest has only just arrived but these with the disana dungarees with overalls on top kept my 2 year old very warm, even when snowing in the north of england! Just had to buy a pair for my youngest too.
They are lovely quality and don't feel at all scratchy. I'd highly recommend."
