"Warm and cozy , hard wearing. Extremely easy to shrink in the wash - we're on our second pair now, but definitely operator error ! Cold hand wash only. Otherwise excellent."

"My mother has shrunk the merino/silk vest my daughter had loved.grrr. Got this as a cheaper alternative- works perfectly and keeps her comfortable and warm. Fits well and doesn't irritate her skin (she's got mid eczema).Does keep fresh and clean. I'll try to keep helpful family members away."

I wouldn't really recommend this to a friend.

"My daughter is picky, but she was happy wearing these to school pretty much every day. She's not a fan of tights, so has been wearing shorts/long socks with her school dresses and skirts for most of the autumn. I've given up arguing and bought woolly socks. It worked till last week of November. Creamy colour(wish there were white or grey) hadn't put her off. I have to wash them every day as they get really dirty at school. Think cotton makes them a bit softer than just wool. Also, don't slide down as quickly as I thought they might."
