"Lovely warm leggings - perfect for winter. slide nicely under waterproofs, also used under a skirt occasionally for added warmth. I lanolinised mine and used them over a wool nappy cover as extra protection - very successful. I found they weren't thick enough to use as a long soaker on their own, but worked well as an extra layer. Mine have all shrunk to some degree with use and even careful washing, but that only improved their waterproofness as a nappy cover!"

"It is made of very fine silk, so soft! I find it is ideal at night in combination with our merino sleeping bag from Superlove. I use it also as underwear (it is very thin silk, almost transparent)"

It's the best and most comfortable baselayer you can find! However many times you wear it, it never seems to get dirty or smelly! And it hardly ever needs washing. It is blissfully comfortable even if the temperature changes."

"worn in wellies for walks and outdoor nursery, thin enough to wear 2 pairs at once, son loves the pattern. despite my best efforts to separate handwash stuff,one pair did get shrunk, thankfully they fit other son! We did get holes in the heels because of worn welly lining, but easy to darn an wearing well otherwise."

"My children have stayed warm all winter with these vests on under their clothes and cool in the summer too when worn alone, they wash well, although i managed to shrink one, entirely my own fault though, was able to stretch it a little back to original size.one year on they look as good as when i bought them."
