Was a little apprehensive initially about the softness but they have washed and worn very well with a wool detergent. "These slippers are ideal for indoor and the occasional outdoor because of the firm sole. The wool breathes perfectly so never too warm even with the high cuff. My daughter has worn Haflingers from CB for 6-7 years and they are the best quality."
