"My daughter was complaining that her usual duffle coat was too heavy to wear for playing outside/bike rides etc. We purchased this and its almost perfect. Lightweight, warm and resists light rain - if only it could keep the wind out. Its slightly too bulky to wear under a windproof shell. Other than that we love it!"

"Keeps me nice and warm when worn under a jumper. The sizing is a bit off. I am usually an 8 in tops and bought the 8-10, but found this very short in the arm and narrow across the shoulders. The cuff is about 3 inches up from my wrist which is odd because I'm not tall and usually have the opposite problem! It was fine in the body though and I needed it urgently so decided to keep it."

"Was worried that my picky 3.5 yr old won't like the wooliness, but she ended up wearing it non-stop and loves putting it on. It feels warm and doesn't need washing often at all (I Just air it). The only thing is that it bobbles slightly. I wouldn't be without it though - confident that my little one is warm."

"I've been buying these every year for my boys, from around ages 2-5. Will be buying the next size for next winter. We've had three different colors (in different sizes) and all have been great. Soft, somewhere between lightweight and medium weight. Perfect everyday sock. 2 years of wintertime wear and they still look great, no holes no pilling."
