"I do love this hat. It is easy to wear and easy to wash. I bought it for myself not my child. The only reason I gave it four instead of five stars is that too few sizes were available so I had to get an awkwardly large size."

"Both my two - girl and boy with similar sized heads, happily wear these hats. They can be tightened which helps on a windy day. Plus enough coverage around for the neck and nose. Fab. I had to give one to nursery so bought more to stock up. Would by the next size as needed."

"both my children live in these all the time, unless it's really hot out. can't recommend enough. i wash them at 30 degrees delicate wash and they do gradually shrink over time so after a few months they get passed on from my older to my younger ... and the size on the label becomes less descriptive of the garment, but i consider this a small price to pay for an item that keeps them both warm and cool, day and night."

This was washed... doesn't often need washing if used as underwear but washes fine at 30 but does very gradually shrink. prob if hand washed would happen less

"I bought these for my twin boys' first and very cold winter. Kept their feat toasty and non-slip on drafty wood floors. Only loses a star for being to bulky to wear boots and slightly short on the leg."

"I have bought tops like these along with the matching leggings since my twin boys' first winter. They are perfect layers under overalls on chilly days, and smart enough as tops on their own any day! They are so soft my boys often choose to wear them on their own accord. Despite that they still look like new having been gently washed on a wool cycle with delicates detergent."
