"Ibought 2 of the stripy tops 2 years ago and I cant rate these little tops high enough for warmth and comfort.They are low under the arms so rarely need washing and are smart enough to wear as a summer top."

This was washed... The stripy tops have been handwashed in cold water with Ecover many times with no shrinkage and still look fab. I bought a natural for a child and that has strangely shrunk just very slightly but still looks great.

"I bought the mulberry one last year in the spring.Wore it as a warm vest initially. In the summer wore it as a smart top and also took it to Florida and the Caribbean recently and wore as a t shirt with linen skirt and trousers.In 30c and high humidity I found it more comfortable against me than a cotton t shirt as it never felt damp."

This was washed... I dare hardly reveal that I have only handwashed it once after about 9 months of wear, though I always peg my woollens out on the line regularly. I think it has shrunk up a tiny bit but hardly noticeable and I often find woollens tend to grow again a little with wear
