Steinbeck

Makers of the finest traditional wool blankets and woollen sleeping bags, Steinbeck are a keenly environmentally responsible company. They use only wool and undertake the whole weaving and finishing processes themselves.

Steinbeck use no environmentally-harmful chemicals and only select formaldehyde-free, bio-degradeable resources. In the washing process, only natural soaps are used.

Two of the blankets we have selected from their range are undyed and in natural colours. For the coloured blankets, the dyes are eco-friendly and meet JVN rules.
Another style blanket using the same dyes was entered in and passed the Stiftung Oeko Test.
