Women's Simple Vest in Merino Wool and Silk
£35.00
"I bought one of these last year and I wore it nearly all through winter. It us truly the best layering piece, adding warmth without adding bulk. I was pregnant too and the vest was really soft and stretches beautifully over my gowing bump (until it became too short and I replaced it with a men's version, which is longer length). One caveat: do nit machine wash, even on 30 degrees because the vest will shrink, which is why I ordered a new one this year."

"I have been delighted with them, loving the colours, but particularly the feel and warmth of these lovely garments. All stars."

"Very happy with this. It's warm and comfortable. Haven't washed it yet so cannot comment on whether it shrinks but would suggest to hand wash only."

"This vest is perfect for winter days and is fine enough to wear under shirts and light cardigans/jumpers without looking bulky. It's beautifully warm without ever being oppressive. Hand washes well."

"Very warm and comfortable. Did shrink a little bit each time I washed them, though, so they are now slightly smaller than I would wish. I believe I followed the care guidelines. However, I like them so much that I've just bought some more and am going to try airing them instead of washing them.
If I could change anything in the styling, it would be to have the scoop neck less scooped, i.e. higher and therefore warmer on the chest. No need to hide these vests away, they are charming."
This was washed... Shrank a little bit each wash.

"Thank you for your review. Wool and silk vests do not need to be washed after each wearing, particularly these sleeveless ones, but when they do need washing we recommend washing by hand or in your washing machine on a hand-wash wool cycle as it is the temperature and the agitation that can cause them to shrink. If they do shrink a little then please re-shape them whilst they are still damp - I give mine a really good stretch lengthways so that they keep their length!
Warm wishes, Rosy"
