Silk is excellent for the skin. It is gentle, insulating and breathable, and known for generations and across cultures as the ideal next-to-the-skin layer.

Silk naturally refreshes itself when aired as it releases dirt and odours easily. Hang to air when necessary.

When needed, hand wash your silk at no higher than 30C, which feels lukewarm to the touch. Use a ph-neutral detergent designed to protect silk's natural oils. We recommend one of our liquid wool shampoos in our fabric care section here.

Air dry naturally out of direct sunlight. Don't tumble-dry but squeeze out excess water by wrapping your silk garment in a towel, and hang to dry.
