"I really like these slippers. However, as with many shoes and slippers these days they din't come in UK half sizes, so working from the chart on the website I went for a UK size 9 (I am UK size 8.5). They are rather too large and a size 8 would probably have been a better fit. I am using heel pads (three on each slipper) and have got them just about to fit. When I need to buy another pair I will go for a size 8 (and hope these aren't too small!)"

"This is my second pair of Haflinger slippers - I love them, they are so comfortable and have a shaped arch so are supportive as well. They look more like indoor clogs than slippers too which I like as well. I bought my first pair in a shop where I could try them on and although I am normally a size 40/41, Size 39 is a perfect fit for me with bare feet or thin socks. Because of the small lip at the heel you don't want them to be too big so I would recommend going down a size."

"I bought these slippers having had a similar type in the past (from Italy). Having bunions, I wanted slippers with a raised instep and reasonably wide - these are perfect. Also like the fact that they are made from natural materials. They are very comfortable and warm and I wear them constantly while indoors during autumn/winter/spring. I fully anticipate buying another pair when they eventually wear out."
