"This is such a beautiful dress. I have it for my daughter in pink, but I look back at the Cambridge Baby site every few weeks and think about buying more in different sizes/colours! It's really versatile and can be basically lived in year-round. Over the past few months my daughter has worn it by itself, with a top or jumper layered underneath, and with a cardigan over the top. The boiled wool is lightweight and soft, and can be worn into the spring and summer. It's even great for muddy garden play. Just hang the dress up for a few hours until the mud dries and then brush it off - good as new!
I've knocked off one star, only because it could have washed better. I fully intended to never wash this dress and only ever spot-clean. However, after an unfortunate and dramatic vomiting situation (in the middle of Disneyland no less...) I was left with no choice. Luckily, the shrinkage was very minimal, but the dress does now curl up slightly at the ends. I don't think it's really a fault of the dress, it's just the way the natural fabric is. It certainly wouldn't put me off buying it again, but I'd recommend only washing it if you absolutely have to.
The dress runs a little on the short side, so definitely size up if you prefer a longer fit, if you think you'll want to wash it, or if you want it to fit for a long time."
This was washed... Shrunk and curled up a little with washing. Only wash if absolutely necessary!
